Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Finance (BIIF) hosted the inaugural session of a three-day Course for senior banking professionals on International Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange Operations under Islamic Shariah accredited by the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance (IIBI).

Opening Ceremony of the course was held at the Conference Hall of BIIF on 26th May 2024. Mr. S M Abdul Hakim, Executive Director of the Bangladesh Bank, was present as a chief guest; where Dr. M Abdul Aziz, Founder Director of BIIF, presided over the ceremony. Dr. Md. Golzare Nabi, Director (Research), Bangladesh Bank; and Dr. Zakir Selim were also present in the the ceremony.

Closing Ceremony of the Course for Senior Bankers was held at BIIF Conference Hall, Motijheel on 29th May, 2024.  Thirty-five officers are participating in the training course nominated by twenty-five banks.
